Director, Revenue Cycle Management & International Patient Coordination
Head of Etica RCM for affiliated practices + operational leadership of International Patient Coordination Services under Etica Global Solutions LLC
Position summary
We are seeking an experienced revenue cycle leader to serve as Director of Revenue Cycle Management for Etica-affiliated physician practices and to build and run International Patient Coordination Services for Etica Global Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of Etica Management Solutions LLC. This is a single leadership role spanning U.S. practice billing operations and our international coordination line: you will define strategy, hire and mentor staff, own payer relationships and workflows, and serve as the primary U.S. interface for authorized international partners (e.g., coordinators and resort networks) who need documentation alignment, claims preparation support, and follow-up with U.S. payers.
Employer of record: Etica Management Solutions LLC, doing business as Etica Health. International Patient Coordination Services are delivered in coordination with Etica Global Solutions LLC under policies you help establish with executive leadership and counsel.
Etica RCM (practice revenue cycle)
- Own end-to-end revenue cycle strategy and performance for Etica-supported independent practices: coding integrity, billing, denial management, and reporting
- Align Etica RCM processes with payer rules, partner contracts, and practice workflows (EHR-agnostic discipline)
- Build and lead the RCM team; set quality standards, productivity expectations, and training programs
- Partner with practice leadership on AR goals, fee schedules where applicable, and compliance guardrails
International Patient Coordination Services (Etica Global Solutions LLC)
- Operational ownership of the international line: scope definition, SOPs, and partner onboarding with international hospitals and coordinators
- Oversight of claim preparation support, documentation alignment to U.S. conventions, payer routing, and appeals strategy—without guaranteeing payment or acting as an insurer
- Collaboration with counsel on cross-border information handling, BAAs, and contracting language
- Interface with U.S. payers and travel-related benefit programs as appropriate; escalate complex cases
- Optional coordination with clinical telehealth or liaison arrangements when expressly contracted
Qualifications
- 10+ years in U.S. healthcare revenue cycle leadership; deep experience with professional claims, denials, and appeals
- Proven success with out-of-network, emergency, or complex claims a strong plus; international or travel-benefit exposure highly valued
- Understanding of ICD/CPT, medical necessity documentation, and payer-specific submission requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build teams, manage vendors if used, and report metrics to executive leadership
- Professional Spanish strongly preferred for partner interface in Latin America
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; relevant certifications (e.g., CRCR, HFMA, CPC) a plus
Compensation
Competitive executive compensation package commensurate with experience; details discussed with qualified candidates.
